But how many did you get right?? :) Also, I wish I’d entered a pool like that cause I think I would have cleaned up :). I did beat my mom in picks which means that, when we go to NYC in May, I get to pick the shows we go to.

I did my Oscar picks on my blog. I said that I thought Avatar/James will win Best Picture and Best Director, even though I think Hurt Locker should win.

I also said that I wanted Fantastic Mr. Fox to win Best Animated Film, but that’s only because I thought it went above and beyond as far as animated technique went. I loved Up though, and I certainly think it will win and I’ll be happy if it does. Really it was a tough pick for me because I loved both movies. I agree with you pretty much on everything else though. :)

i am so freakin excited for sunday! honestly, i haven’t seen most of the movies, so mostly b/c of the red carpet….

i loved the hurt locker and the academy loves “the little movie that could” so i’m really excited to see if it wins. is it me or was jeremy renner pretty hot??

Very, very interesting! I wouldn’t be surprised if The Hurt Locker wins best picture, but I have a feeling Avatar is gonna win (I still haven’t seen it, don’t really want to). I absolutely loved The Hurt Locker, but I’m a military brat and have watched my mom and brother go to war twice, so I really identified with it.

I loved Anna Kendrick. LOVED her. I haven’t seen Precious, so I don’t know what the buzz is about, but apparently Mo’Nique is worthy of it.

I definitely think Christoph Waltz will win and should win. I was blown away by his performance in Inglourious Basterds and am curious to see what he does next.

I can’t wait for Sunday!!!

I used to use this stuff and it was great, until I accidentally bought the waterproof version. Whenever I use waterproof I can never get it off even w/soap.

But I started using whatever the yellow tube is from CoverGirl recently and it’s working pretty well for me.

I TOTALLY recommend lash stiletto! I have always been a Maybelline mascara fan! (If I splurge I get Dior Diorshow, but I spend way too much money on makeup, so I try not to splurge too much anymore.) Real Simple Magazine reviewed it and gave it a good review, so I tried it and I am in love. I get it in waterproof and it is the perfect combo of length and fullness.

This is my eye lover. I used to do DiorShow, LashBlast…all the pricey stuff but this is my favorite. Have you tried waterproof? I find it to be a little thicker AND keeps me from having to redo my make-up when it’s cold out and I tear up outside.

I’m with you on the unnecessary characters, and I think I’d include the same ones you did in the category.

I’d give the movie a C. I wasn’t expecting much, and it definitely met my expectations. Love Actually is an excellent example of an ensemble cast being successful, but I haven’t seen one compare. (Can you tell I also wasn’t a fan of He’s Just Not That Into You)

I think I’m becoming a chick flick grinch in my old age :-)
